The Life of Maggie

Early on one frosty morning, a future southern belle was born.  She looked up at her mother and asked why am I  up here in this cold New England coast.

When she had more clothes on and surrounded by blankets she was more adjusted to the northern climate.

Most of her early days she found time to sleep.  Sometimes in the arms of relatives,

sometimes in a small swing well swaddled in blankets.

Her mother brought her out to see the world with her sister and brother, but she was well protected from the environment.

Soon she was well dressed for her first coming out party. It was called baptism, but she got to wear a royal gown.
