The bigger tall ships were all under power since they were following the canals and had to wait for bridges to open.
But there were some colorful old wooden sailboats with full sails up.  There was a good wind, which is usually the case in this area.

Here was another canal coming into the large canal where we were docked.  There is a lot of boat traffic everywhere around here.
We looked for the windmills of Holland and all we could see were the same type we have in the states.  They must have modernized their wind power.

We left Amsterdam and had to be locked up a number of feet to get to sea level as Holland is below sea level.  It then took us a day of sailing to reach Edinburgh,Scotland.  We could not dock at Edinburgh as we were too big so we anchored out in the Firth of Forth.  (From Google Earth)
There is our ship out in the Firth as seen from the Ferry pier.  One of the boat's tenders can be seen to the left of the ship.
