As we leave the harbor of Torshavn the whole town can be seen.  It seems like the turf roof is confined to the buildings near the docks. Is this by design?
As we pull away one gets a broader view of the town and surroundings.

Torshavn was a fairly large town, so it was easier to see much of the town by looking out from the ship, which gave us kind of a bird's eye view. The passage through the islands had many scenic views.  The islands are now connected by tunnels under the sea and by electrical lines which were high enough for our big ship to pass under.

There were interesting sites such as this statue of liberty like stone projection.
There were cliffs filled with birds although the ship was so big that it was difficult to make out the birds from the distance.
