This town was a real frontier town.  It had been left the way it was when it was a center of the mining industry. The roads were mud and the train belched black smoke into the crisp, clean air.
A relic from the mining days was this house of dubious reputation. Why is mom standing there?

the way out
A look down the road one way and you can see  the snow topped mountains and the train.
The street is bussiling with trade on this day. Of course, most of it is tourist trade.

Mom is still in front of the questionable house as the train gets ready to depart.
And so do we as we board our bus and make our way out  of town on a modern road.
